Used Textbooks - Student Exchange

List of Used Textbooks currently available for sale by students. Prices included.

If you are interested in buying any of these books, contact the Library:

1. Visit or Call the Library Circulation Desk at (510) 379-4048 during business hours.
2. Email questions or requests to library@lincolnuca.edu.

When you contact us, be sure to include the following:

1. Full Name
2. Student ID
3. Phone number
4. University email address
5. Title and ISBN of the book you want to buy
6. Preferred payment method

You can pay cash at the Library and we will transfer the entire amount to the seller. Or, the seller may be open to direct payment via Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal. If you prefer these methods of payment, please inform us.

Books will be sold on a first come, first served basis. The first person who provides us with the above information will have 3 days to make a payment and pick up their book. Everyone else will be placed on a Waiting List. If the payment is not received within 3 days, we will offer the book to the next person on the Waiting List.

If you want to sell your used textbooks, stop by the Library to give us the book(s). We will hold onto the book until it is SOLD, or for up to one year. We will then post it in the "Used Textbooks - For Sale by Students" section of this guide.

This is what we will need to know about the book(s) for sale:

1. Book Title
2. Edition
3. Author(s)
4. ISBN
5. Price
6. Instructions for the book if it does not sell

This what we need to know about you:

1. Full Name
2. Student ID
3. Phone Number
4. Email Address
5. Preferred payment method

If someone buys your book(s), we will collect cash payment on your behalf and contact you to arrange a time for you to it pick up. Alternatively, if you are interested in receiving payment via Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal directly from the buyer, please let us know.  

You can pick up your book at any time if you decide not to sell. After one year, if you do not pick it up, we will consider it a donation unless you made other arrangements in advance.
