Diagnostic Imaging

SIMTICS Sonography includes 36 modules designed for sonographers and sonography students. With SIMTICS you can learn and practice a wide range of ultrasound procedures and protocols, anytime and anywhere. No downloads and no special equipment required.

In addition to interactive simulations, each module includes a demonstration video, explanatory text with key terms and illustrations, an applied anatomy section with 2D and 3D images, and at least one quiz to test your theory knowledge. 

Lincoln University Library has three licenses to SIMTICS Sonography available for remote use by DI faculty and students. 

To get access to SIMTICS:

1. Request login credentials from the DI Director.
2. When you contact DI Director, also include dates/times when you want to access SIMTICS.
3. You will receive email confirmation of your schedule along with the login credentials. (Note: Each license allows only one user to log in at a time.)
4. Go to https://new.simtics.com. 
5. Enter the username and password.
6. Remember to log out when you have finished your session.
